Primary responsibilities:

  1. Organize brown-bag lunch discussions featuring speakers of interest to the SIRAN membership. 
  2. Whenever possible a SIRAN member will also host a concurrent live gathering to meet the speaker.

Primary responsibilities:

  1. Conduct due diligence meetings (in-person or via conference call) with companies
  2. Include relevant discussions on business matters and issues, such as potential climate change impact to earnings growth, reputational risk, operational in-efficiencies, child/sweatshop labor, corporate governance, water sustainability, toxic materials, etc.

Primary responsibilities:

  1. Catalyzing SIRAN research studies (a select set of benchmarking studies updated annually or biennially and one-time research projects based on resources available);
  2. Articulating a collective voice on issues relevant to social research, as appropriate;
  3. Developing/maintaining tools for communicating internally and externally, including the SIRAN Analysts Directory, SIRAN website,  member e-mail updates and conference calls;
  4. Media outreach; and
  5. Exploring new opportunities for SIRAN to promote corporate transparency and facilitate social research through representation at conferences, information-sharing with CSR-related organizations, and other possibilities.
